Economic Instruments for IWRM - Argentina Start: 00:00 End: 18:00 ECONOMIC INSTRUMENTS FOR INTEGRATED WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE) Date: October 6 - November 28, 2008 (8 weeks - 80 hours) Participants: Professionals working in different fields and institutions who participate in water-related decision-making processes (drinking water supply and sanitation, irrigation, energy, recreation). Attendance will be limited to a maximum of 30 participants to ensure personalized attention to participants' specific needs. IWRM as a tool for adaptation to climate change - Cairo, Egypt Start: 00:00 End: 17:00 This training of trainers' course is part of a collaborative programme between Cap-Net/UNDP and APFM/WMO to capacitate water professionals, capacity builders, local authorities and other stakeholders to adapt to changing climatic conditions. The focus of that programme is on how sustainable water management can be instrumental in dealing with extreme climate variations in vulnerable areas.
