A workshop jointly organised by Cap-Net and UNEP that took place in Nairobi from 10 to 12 March, addressed capacity building in IWRM and Environment. The objective of the workshop was to identify priority actions in capacity building delivery and development of training materials. The meeting was attended by various partners, such as UNESCO-IHE, IUCN, Wetlands International and others, and several Cap-Net affiliated capacity building networks that have programmed activities on the subject.

The workshop participants succesfully deliberated capacity building priorities and set out a programme of action. An important part of the collaborative programme is the development of a training package for which an outline has been developed and modules allocated to partners for development.
