Examples	The central objective of the Foundation is the development and promotion of permanent formation activities, technological extension and implementation of International Cooperation Projects for the improvement of the potential of Ibero-American Universities and economic and social sectors. The Foundation develops its work strengthening the participation of companies and other entities, aiming for a maximum incidence in the transformation processes and technological improvement, and collaborating in the creation, establishment and administration of new initiatives that, in general, can contribute to the realization of the main objectives. 18 universities in the Region and in Spain participate in the Foundation. Activities in Environmental Sciences include: § Environmental consultancey § Oceanography and Marine Resources § Environmental education for Sustainable Development § Master in Management and Environmental Audits, first year presents a course on Environmental Consultancey and the second year each student must select two specializations, among which are water management, marine contamination and environmental education for sustainable development.
