The training course is scheduled to take place in Malang, East Java. Indonesia. This is a city in the very heartland of the Brantas River Basin. The course is running on November 24-28, 2008 and will be jointly organized by AquaJaring (a capacity building network for Southeast Asia) and Jasa Tirta I Public Corporation (PJT-I) of Indonesia, with the support of Cap-Net. Southeast Asia is an important region, viewed from the water availability index. River Basin Organisations within this region will gain benefit from implementing IWRM principles in their river basins, providing efficient and effective water services to its beneficiaries.
